Franklin Manor-Columbus Downtown Luxury Estate.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Franklin Manor-Columbus Downtown Luxury Estate. We thought the property had a bunch of character. I especially liked the ceiling in the master bedroom and the staircase as well. We liked walking in the neighborhood and thought the area was also full of interesting architecture. In addition, our host was so kind to leave out a bottle of wine for us and coffee, as well as toiletries (shampoo, etc.) We appreciated those added touches. The beds were comfortable and there were clean fresh towels for us. One small improvement that I noticed could be taken care of is dusting more throughly under the beds/couch and near baseboards; there were wrappers left in a couple of those places from previous guests as well. In addition, there was quite a bit of dust on the amazing light fixture in the master; I'm sure that's hard to reach, but it just needs a spring cleaning. The only other small issue we had is that the door to the bathroom in the second bedroom was off the track and we couldn't slide it closed. The closets in the bathroom were also difficult to maneuver and might need to be adjusted as well. All in all, we'd be happy to come back, we actually had a lovely stay!

The home is absolutely beautiful! The appliances were up to date, easy to use, and clean. Parking was decent for the neighborhood and downtown region. We had heat and water issues during our stay. The host was responsive and worked to fixed the water issue. It took 10-12 hours to raise the temperature from 69 to 71 on the first two floors. The third floor was ridiculously toasty. The hot water stopped working the 2nd day. I would’ve stayed here again during a different season to avoid extreme temperatures.
